Here you will find an overview of DTU Aqua’s research projects funded by the European Maritime, Fisheries and Aquaculture Fund (EMFAF). About EMFAF

The European Maritime, Fisheries and Aquaculture Fund aims to

  • contribute to achieving the environmental, economic, social and employment objectives of the EU common fisheries policy.
  • promote the implementation of the EU's maritime policy.
  • strengthen international ocean governance. 

Most of the fund's resources are allocated to member states through national programmes, which must be approved by the European Commission. The Danish programme is administered by the Danish Fisheries Agency.
