The Danish Biological Station (in Danish: Den Danske Biologiske Station) was established in 1889 to provide knowledge about the distribution and abundance of fish and fish biology to support fisheries and fisheries management.

The research results were published in 'Report from the Danish Biological Station' (in Danish: Beretning fra Den Danske Biologiske Station).

In some periods the report was issued by the publishing companies G.E.C. Gad and C.A. Reitzels Forlag.

Most of the volumes in the fisheries series is available at the Danish part of DTU Aqua's website. The papers are in Danish.
